Nut and saddle sander

I've recently started using this nut and saddle sander.

For solid contact and good tone, the bottom of a nut or saddle must be squared up. This is especially important where under-saddle pickups are used - an uneven contact will lead to string imbalance. This nut and saddle sander is the fastest, surest way to do this.

When hand-sanding, it's hard to avoid rocking the nut or saddle. The result is a poor fit in the slot. The nut and saddle sander holds the nut or saddle perfectly vertical while you roll it over sandpaper on a flat surface. Adjustment screws set the amount you want to remove, and in moments the piece is squared up and truly flat.

The adjusting screws allow for very fine adjustment. Each mark on the scale equals 0.1 mm, and one whole turn is 0.8mm or 1/32".
