This Rosewood Telecaster is a Japanese reissue of the guitar which Fender made for George Harrison. He used it in the Let it Be session. It's not an exact copy, being made out of 5 separate pieces of rosewood, with a maple filler strip, but it's still a very striking beast and an excellent player.

Unfortunately, a previous owner had stripped the body and repainted it with some coloured household varnish. A full refinish was needed to bring it back to 'as new' condition. This was a slow job, as rosewood is open-pored and a slow build-up and plenty of curing time was needed before the final polish.
