This C-10 was made in 1999, and has been little used. It's in excellent condition. There are 4 or 5 tiny/shallow 1-2mm marks in the top, all very hard to see and impossible to photo. there are some strumming marks on the pickguard. There are a couple of minor capo marks on the back of the neck, and one light scratch on the back. Very light fretwear.
The C-10 is Collings' take on smaller-bodied vintage Gibson acoustics, and is an excellent choice for both fingerpicking and flatpicking. Collings' blurb says: 'Its narrow waist and small upper bout resulting in a precise, focused response. The smaller upper bout is gratifying and a true dream to play. It's this unique body size that allows the C10 to project a more focused mid-range then other smaller bodied guitars. This mid-range is combined with a crisp low-end and rounded, mellow trebles.'
This guitar is fitted with LR Baggs' excellent I-Beam bridgeplate pickup - the active version.
Comes complete with the original green-lined TKL fitted case in excellent condition - no dings or scuffs.
