Blue Chip picks are produced from a very high grade, self lubricating composite material specially formulated for great playing qualities. These one of a kind picks cannot be found anywhere else in the world. The patent pending material has great tone and speed like tortoise with none of the drawbacks. Blue Chip picks are precision machined, hand bevelled and laser etched. They never need polishing because they do not flake at the corners like tortoise shell picks do. Blue Chip thumbpicks combine accuracy with clarity of tone - plus a lot of volume! They are also surprisingly comfortable - I've spent years trying find a comfortable thumb pick that won't slip off at key moments or make my thumb turn blue, so this is very welcome. As with the flatpicks, I'm now stocking the most popular models and can supply the full range to special order. Blue Chip thumb picks are constructed using a custom designed stainless steel band and a .050 or .060" (1.25mm or 1.50mm) thick BlueChip pick. These picks are laser etched, professionally machined, and hand bevelled to create the best thumb pick available.
