Fretting hammer

Where possible, I prefer to use a fret press as it gives more consistent results. But where only a fretting hammer will do this is my 'go-to' favourite.

This is a well-balanced dual-face hammer. The aluminium head is threaded for two replaceable striking surfaces: a low-dent plastic flat face with smooth edges, and a brass convex face that's radiused for installing frets. Sturdy hardwood handle.
