This 4-sided straightedge tool is ideal for finding high frets - it's commonly called a fret rocker because of the way the tool rocks on high and low frets. Use it in different places from the treble to the bass side of the fingerboard, as a problem will often only occur under one or two strings. As soon as you hear the 'tick tick' sound, you know you've found your problem. The edge lengths are designed so that you can span any three frets on your instrument.
