We offer a wide range of pickguards in usual and less usual styles.
We make a range of beautiful vintage-style celluloid guards, which are ideal for high-end or older guitars. They have a rounded, radiused edge.
We also like the retro Tortoloid styles developed by luthier Mario Proulx, which use poured resins and dyes to create individual replicas of vintage styles. We also have a variety of Larrivee guards, which fit the majority of their models.
A cheaper range of correctly sized vinyl guards is also kept in stock. These aren't in the same league as the celluloid, Tortoloid and Larrivee types, but are a good option on a cheaper or midprice guitar. Unlike a lot of the vinyl guards available on the internet, these have the pattern running right through the material, and have a chamfered (bevelled) edge.
We make non-standard designs to order.
Please check out our templates before ordering. Using a template is the best way to ensure a good fit, due the compound curves involved. Our templates also give the diameter of the soundhole rings they fit in inches and mm.
